Happy New Year!

Its hard to believe that after a rather hectic fall and early winter, the holidays have come and gone and already we are well into the New Year.  I have had a little down time so I have enjoyed working on several new still life paintings.  I will hope to get out in the field soon to continue my plein air adventures.  Somehow, it seems nice to be able to be in the warmth of the studio working on these floral paintings.  Please take a look on this site under the "paintings" category where you will find a section of "still life" paintings.  

With the New Year, I am happy to annouce that my work will be in two additional galleries.  The Bryan H. Roberts Gallery, in Columbus, OH, (www.robertsgallery.com) and the Wee Kang Gallery, in Scottsdale.  The Roberts Gallery is a charming facility representing regional and National painters along with many European works.  The Wee Kang Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona is a newer gallery in the area and represents the work of Wee Kang along with many other artists.  I am pleased to extend my representation beyond the East Coast and am honored to be a part of these two wonderful venues. 

I continue with my blog; my journey as a Vermont painter.  It primarily shows smaller work completed either plein air or in the studio and various ramblings and thoughts about the work.  Please check it out.  A link is to the left hand side of this page.
